How it works

1. 01Connect a chat

   On the Alerts page, tap Connect Telegram. It opens the RondaUp bot; press Start and the chat is linked.

2. 02Or add it to a group

   Choose a group instead and the bot joins it, so everyone on the project sees the same alert.

3. 03Choose what it covers

   Leave it on all monitors, or pick one client's sites for that client's group.

Questions

Why Telegram instead of SMS?

Telegram messages arrive instantly, cost nothing to receive, work on phone and desktop, and can go to a group so the whole team sees the same alert. SMS is slow and expensive in many countries.

Can alerts go to a team group?

Yes. Connect a personal chat, a group, or both. Add the RondaUp bot to the group with one tap from the Alerts page.

Can different clients alert different chats?

Yes. Each channel can cover all monitors or only the ones you choose, so one client's sites can alert that client's project group.

Will I get flooded with messages?

No. A site that stays down sends one alert, not one per check, and a single recovery message when it is back. A failed check is also retried once before any alert.
